Review on 🐷 Crate Creatures Surprise: Snort Hog by Reza Shoecraft

Gave this to my daughter for her birthday. She loves it. But right out of the box it started failing due to old batteries. I put in a new set of batteries (several times) and there was no power at all. I realized that due to the design, the batteries cannot come in contact with metal to power the toy. The supplied almost flat batteries have a slightly thinner and longer positive end than most batteries. I think if Duracell batteries don't come with it, if not all other commercially available batteries, they won't work either. I need to find a metal file and cut off some plastic so the batteries can touch. Such a small, almost invisible gap, but no contact - no contact. Edit: Confirmed that this is the case. After I cut off enough of the plastic strips that were attached there to prevent battery contact, the toy worked as it should again. If it works, it's a good toy, but they really should fix the problem.
