Bought this for my new 2019 Subaru WRX STI when I noticed the carpet and foam sagged slightly under the right heel. But of course it wasn't possible to drill a brand new Sti mat, so a modification was made: 1) The nubs on the underside of the mat were carefully cut with a sharp knife (I used a Leatherman multi-tool knife), the Plastic is quite soft, and this process is easy and quick (be careful - don't cut your hands). 2) Then on the flattened bottom - on the sides and in the middle - Velcro was glued (bought in the next target). What is made of this pad is just the perfect solution for use with carpet mats - will not damage car mat, easy to install, remove for cleaning, position is easily adjustable. One year in use - works very well, no problems, achieved the goal of stopping the foam from destroying itself. I rate this product 5 stars and wish the manufacturer would start production of these hook and loop mats so they can be used immediately as described. hp If you follow my route, be very careful - never cut towards yourself, your body or your fingers.
