I really like fishing with the short Hopkins single lure.
I love Shorty Hopkins fishing and I'm sad that local tackle shops never sell 2 ounce, 2.5 ounce and 3 ounce models with a single shaft or tube. The single buck tail shorty is a great saltwater lure with excellent casting. I usually use it as the main bait and some hand tied flies for teasing. A green tube single hook is ideal for striped bass when they are feeding on sandeels.
