I wanted to switch to homemade e-liquid by weight instead of volume, but I didn't need a large scale as I'm short on space. This scale is fun. So true? Applying the supplied weight for calibration shows that this is the case. I have to have it tested by an independent lab to be 99% sure. Will I do this for some homemade e-liquids? nope This works fine for me. I was concerned that the auto power off was another reason I wanted to use USB mode, but simply using the batteries wasn't the issue I thought. I found the tray to be a very valuable item. I try to be careful with liquids
