I made a trip to New York pre-pandemic when the forecast promised snow, but I really didn't want to take up valuable luggage space with bulky winter boots. So I bought a few of these and hoped for the best. It was snowing, but I was stupid and tried to walk the streets in just my normal shoes and my feet quickly got wet and cold. After drying my shoes with the hotel hair dryer, I learned my lesson and put on these overshoes the next day. I was surprised how well they worked! My feet stayed warm and dry. I was concerned about traction but that was pretty good too. I mostly walked on sidewalks, but I never slipped or fell. This is one of those rare occasions when a product has exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!
