This is a lightweight standard tripod which together with a mobile phone holder is very handy for mobile phone use. Easy to install and remove. One problem, however. The leg locks are not very well constructed. Opening them (releasing the latch to extend/retract legs) will hurt your fingers if you're not careful. With a little practice this can be avoided, but if I'm in a hurry I still get caught sometimes. I also wish the level I really like was a bubble type. That is, it shows the level in all directions and not just along one axis. I wouldn't recommend this tripod for a heavier 35mm digital camera like the Canon 50D, but it's perfect for a pocket sized point and shoot digital camera.
