Last year I learned to sew and started making masks. Now, over a year later, I'm still making masks. Crazy, right? I quickly found that having a ruler clipped to the edge of my sewing table came in very handy. At first I used a laminated plastic measuring tape but the numbers wore out within a few months and that was just from contact with the fabric. I replaced it with this metal strap which lasted 10 months and looks brand new! The adhesive is strong too, the tape still holds tight. The metric markings are a bonus because I use both imperial and metric sizes when sewing.
