I had REALLY high hopes for this device. BUT. It does not work with Axis brand cameras. Says the username or password is wrong, but it isn't. I have carried out extensive bench tests with this device and the cameras. Older firmware and factory settings work. UNTIL you set a username and password, you will categorically not be able to view cameras thereafter. New firmware in the cameras, everything is ready. no access to it at all. even via a browser function. the browser is incompatible and loads chrome, IE, firefox or edge. I'm pretty sure you can't do that on this thing. I should have kept and maybe went for a more expensive model that isn't locked by proprietary software and can't be updated. I guess that's normal with Chinese cameras and devices, although we're dealing with more expensive stuff and the thing just can't do what I do, but the cable tester function works fine and all the other bells and whistles seem fine. You are only limited as to what cameras it can find. To edit! I was able to download mobile firefox from apkpuredot com. This allowed me to see my Axis cameras. Up to a 4 star rating and not 5 ONLY because I really wish it wasn't blocked like that and there was a website to check for updates. I can't figure out if he is or not. Edit again. Just a few days later, Axis cameras again at a different workplace. Connection could not be established. for them even with the Firefox browser. This item will definitely be returned to the seller. This is a boat anchor. For a very small boat. Basically completely useless for any reputable IP camera manufacturer.
