except I was in dire need of buying new batteries it was a great purchase. I like to have different toys at home so my grandchildren have something to play with. They range from 1 to 11 and although this was bought primarily for 11 year olds the younger ones love it too. What I like is the presence of a volume button that allows you to mute the sound if needed. (But of course kids love it when the sound is on! And it's easier/quicker to figure out you missed a key because the device makes noise.) Well designed and well made. But be careful buyers, have some batteries ready in case your kit has dead batteries like mine.
