We bought this for our 10 year old son. He was very excited. His excitement quickly died after playing with it and experimenting on what it could pick up. He tried a variety of candy, small toys, Lego pieces, empty vending machine capsules. It picks up 1.3" empty capsules really well, and the 2x4 Lego pieces - anything else is too small for it to grab, Hi-Chew candies, 1 inch squishy toys. It DOES NOT pick up 2" empty capsules, the 2 piece starburst candy, bite sized chocolate bars, fun size…

Well everything worked like it said on the reviews. It’s loud and hard to get a prize, but my grandkids liked it anyway. It was a kids/grown up party and it was funny to see an overconfident adult come up and say "let me try this thing”. To their amazement, they couldn’t grab anything. I helped the kids out by attaching a loop of ribbon to the candy/toy which made it that much easier.

I couldnt control the volume and its so loud that everytime i play i became a nuisence to everyone. Besides that its so fun and great for the price

Daughter likes it but lost interest a few days in. It’s not like when you hit the button it drops and picks up and takes it to the drop box for you. You manually drop, pick up, and move it yourself.The music scared my daughter (10) it was so loud she covered her ears. Thankfully my husband cut the wire and we don’t have to listen to it😆

The ‘move forward & backward’ control does not work at all. Googled to see if anyone had encountered the same issue with solution, unfortunately there weren’t any solution nor guide. In fact, many people who bought this had the same problem with the controls.

I read the reviews and it’s pretty much as described. Kids love it and it’s challenging for the younger ones but not so much that they can’t do it eventually. There is two levels of sound, and although the lower level is still a little loud, it’s what you’d expect at an arcade. The loud music just adds to the excitement. Glad I purchased it. Worth the money in my opinion.

I looked at several of these machines to use as a reward system for my kids and chose this one based on price and reviews. Here are some things we've noticed that may be helpful.This machine picks up 1"-1.25" capsules VERY easily. I grabbed some on Ebay like the ones you get out of the gumball type machines. You're a bit limited on items that fit inside the capsules but they are soo much easier for the claw to pick up. We've used coins, enamel pins, raffle tickets, slime, gumballs, warheads…

I read A LOT of reviews (actually my son and o both read them together)…he wanted to spend birthday money getting this…I was incredibly hesitant and tried to advise him against purchasing…he wanted to anyway….I can’t tell you how much FUN we have all had with this little cheap claw machine…my sons buddies come over and we have a hard time getting them out of his room they love trying to get stuff out of it so much!Do not be scared to go for this little hunk of junk!

My 5 year old has been begging for a claw machine. We got this one and easily set it up. We threw some random candy in it. He was so excited to try it. This was for a gift. The claw doesn’t pick up very many things. It doesn’t grab well! picks up things like balls of paper money, (mini) light weight toys. I wish I could’ve sent it back.

Bought as activity to do for son's 16th birthday. Thought he might roll his eyes but he really loved it. We all took turns trying to catch the little plastic balls. I'm not very happy with this claw machine for the price I paid! I bout it form my young grandson as a fun reward system, I know youbdont win every time but the claw is not strong at all. Little ones earn tokens for doing little chores, and are able to get prizes. Works well for teaching responsibilities, and is fun all at the same time! Great little helpy helper machine.

My daughter opened the box and the plexiglass was broken. The claw isn't strong enough to pick up a bouncy ball, and the coin has to be pushed in with another object, because the spring is too heavy.

Purchased this for display purposes. I also collect scaled down arcade cabinets and figured this would add a little more detail to the set-up. I must say, it's pretty cool.The machine lights up and plays music when a coun is inserted. The only two things I can say negatively about this unit is the music is rather loud and accessing the main prize area were the claw is located is a bit of a nuisance.Other than that, I really like it.

It was smaller than expected and very loud with no way to turn off the volume. Otherwise my kid likes it! Thanks for attention.

This is a great toy to help motivate children to get their chores done lol. I do wish that you could turn off the volume. Easy to operate.
