We bought this for our 10 year old son. He was very excited. His excitement quickly died after playing with it and experimenting on what it could pick up. He tried a variety of candy, small toys, Lego pieces, empty vending machine capsules. It picks up 1.3" empty capsules really well, and the 2x4 Lego pieces - anything else is too small for it to grab, Hi-Chew candies, 1 inch squishy toys. It DOES NOT pick up 2" empty capsules, the 2 piece starburst candy, bite sized chocolate bars, fun size Skittles, small 2" squishy toys. Double bubble gum is too heavy - even light things it can't pick up if it's bigger than an inch.It's very disappointing. We've wasted a lot of money trying to find things that the claw will pick up.
