Goods received well packaged. However, the entire bag was badly scratched, like someone had dragged it across the sidewalk. I treated her with a leather conditioner, which did her very good. But alas, once the leather conditioner had soaked and dried, they returned; just a little bit better. Now my only hope is that it will fade into the background as the skin develops a patina and I continue to 'baby' it with leather conditioner. Several parts of the bag are also twisted and frayed at the seams. I stuffed the bag with acid-free tissue paper and massaged the ruffled edges, hoping the deformities would go away over time. I cross my fingers The lining also sticks out in several places, which is pretty obvious as the edges haven't been processed. Odor! I don't know how to describe it, but certainly not leather. Ventilation (of course without direct sunlight) helped. For the price I paid for it, I wish I could add a little more and get one that comes with a 100 year guarantee. So much for giving new businesses a chance. As someone who is obsessed with skin, I know skin and am aware of its imperfections. But the scratches and "stories" in the material are the ones I want to write, not the ones made by someone else. Ps: I will do my best to keep this item in the best condition (which I can love), update if any imperfections are corrected, and also on the durability of the leather and its hardware.
