later I don't know if this product works better with different types of cat litter because I see there are happy customer reviews. My experience was very different. The inserts fit well in 2 very large bowls but the elastic was a problem and didn't hold the corners very well. It's fine, but scooping out the shell with a shovel is quicker than messing with the liner and rubber band. The holes in the middle of the liner that are supposed to "sift" the good stuff back in don't work at all. (My cats use the best multi-cat litter in the world). The used filler kept the good filler from screening. Thinking there might be too much junk in the liner, I tried using less junk and encountered the same problem. However, I kept trying until the third time I used the liner and the bottom ruptured completely. Very disappointed.
