Review on 🐎 100% Wool Southwestern Equine Silverado 1-Inch Grey Contoured Saddle Pad by David Ruwala

I was hoping these would be our perfect pad but we know how heavy they can be. The pillow is thick and looks very high quality. However, it's very stiff right out of the box (after about 60 sweaty rides - it's still stiff). My Thoroughbred isn't a super-tall, wrinkled guy, but he's not even remotely contoured enough. I usually just pull the pad up my esophagus to lift it off the withers, but because it's so hard I can't do that. Also note the light green stain! I didn't pay much attention to it and it's very distracting when you're only using this venue as a ranch event venue. I have to use the lid.
