NOT for Polybutylene
I bought this tool because a reviewer said the clips that came with it worked with Polybutylene. This reviewer is wrong! I have used a Sharkbite U4008LFA conversion hitch in the past. I thought of replacing them with clamps, but no. These three SharkBites I installed a long time ago are still holding on. The tool itself worked flawlessly on all my PEX connections.
