Review on πŸ”§ Lubricated Switch Tester Station with GPL 205g0 Oil for Custom Gateron Cherry Mechanical Keyboards | Acrylic Lubrication Kit C | Double-Deck Removal Platform & Keycaps Puller included by Andy Tunes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Some items arrived damaged (but still usable)

One of the brushes was broken in the middle, not due to shipping as the box was intact. The brushes and box seem very cheap and break easily if stored incorrectly. One of the acrylic oil station's metal legs broke and they arrived safely in a plastic storage box. Another production error. The switch works great and is well made, as is the 4-prong tool. Plastic bristle brushes but I think they will do the trick. The acrylic top is great, but unfortunately one of the metal legs broke. The design could be improved to have another pair of legs in the middle to reduce flex. Attempting to close a switch that is still in the station will cause the station to bend slightly. Support him preventively with the other hand from below. The switch puller is solid and I know it's the same tool you can find everywhere, but I found the ends to be too long making it impossible to pull the switches off the top and bottom edges of the keyboard, unless your case is low profile. This means I either had to pull on the plate with the switches to get them out, or use the little "bad" tool that came with my keyboard, which somehow fits because it's the right size. be convenient for some. I'd rather just use a 4 tooth tool. Despite the bad things mentioned, this is probably the "most" if not "one" of the cheapest lube stations on Revain and pretty much everywhere else. But if you want quality tools, you'd better be prepared to buy them one at a time to buy, albeit at a higher price. I'm giving three stars because it's serviceable, deducting two stars because of poor quality control and some cheap tools. I believe most of the cost goes to the acrylic sheet. You don't really need it as the switch opener can hold a base securely in place (locked as if it were on the keyboard). So if you can find a kit that offers non-acrylic sheet tools at a lower price, you should do it.
