Use your own judgment

I tried 7 to 10 pairs of compression stockings from Amazon to see which matched my JOBST pair that I bought from my doctor's office and these were the closest if not same. If you prescribe compression stockings, your doctor will measure your ankle and calf. I've only found one other brand that gave you an ankle measurement (not this one) and unfortunately their socks didn't pinch the ankle. Sparthos don't list ankle measurements, but the packaging says they put the most compression on the ankle (right). I based it on how well the socks worked, where I felt compression when I first put them on, and how my ankle/calf looked and felt at the end of the day. I tore my Achilles tendon and by the end of the day my ankle and calf were swollen from two blood clots in the cast (hence the need for compression stockings). In JOBST socks I felt compression around my ankle and calf. A little tightness on my leg when I first put them on. By the end of the day, I noticed that the swelling in my ankle or lower leg was virtually gone. In Sparthos socks I felt an even compression of the ankle and calf. However, compared to my JOBST pair, I also felt more compression in my foot. At the end of the day I get the same results with little to no swelling in my ankle and calf. The socks are comfortable to wear all day, I wear them from 7:30am to 10:30pm. I didn't rate the durability as I've only had it for 2 weeks.

Pros
  • โœ… BE COMFORTABLE AND CONFIDENT AGAIN. With a seamless toe, soft lining and graduated compression, this innovative sock keeps you comfortable whether you're on your feet all day or flying. You can even wear it to bed!
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
