Review on Super Mesh Executive Swivel Office Chair with LeatherSoft Seat - Adjustable Lumbar & Arms by Amy Padilla

Various issues but not a bad chair

I received a different chair than the one pictured at the time of writing this review. The main differences I see are the lack of a headrest and the part above the wheels is black instead of silver. If you google the model number you can see photos of the actual chair. I contacted Revain about the missing headrest and received it in the mail the next day. This gives me great confidence to shop from Revain and choose them over similar sites. One of the reasons I chose this chair over others was the massive 71% discount off the $560 list price. Upon searching, it appears that everyone is selling the chair 65-80% below the advertised price. As such, I would advise others to ignore the size of the discount and instead focus on the chair itself. That's a good chair. I like that the armrests are height-adjustable and can be rotated backwards. So you can't get to my keyboard tray, but I'm still comfortable. There is also an adjustable lumbar support. I personally don't need it, but for many it's an important feature. The headrest (which I received in the mail as above) is useless if you are over 5ft 8in due to the average back height. So if you're a tall person and don't have a headrest, you might just want to ignore it. You can adjust how loose/tight it swings, as well as the height. I would have preferred to lock it at a different pivot angle (it's slightly forward facing), but you can't have everything. Almost all office chairs that you buy online do not come fully assembled. Assembly was pretty easy. Took me about 20 minutes.
