Review on 🌬️ Noctua NF-A9 FLX Premium Quiet Fan 92mm Brown 3-Pin for Better SEO by Joe Gosa

I bought these for my Synology 916+ NAS. First, I accidentally bought another SS02 model and found that it is 4 pin while Synology NAS is only 3 pin. Sent them back and got this one instead which fits perfectly. I'm using 4 x 10TB Ironwolf hard drives in my NAS, so I definitely want to make sure these puppies are cool. The old fans were noisy and just didn't move the air. Sure, those fans are expensive for 92mm fans, but when you're only spending over $1,200 on your NAS, keeping your drives as cool as possible is your number one priority. It's like buying a luxury car and filling up on cheap gas. No sorry. But I'm very happy with the FLX fans. They're really easy to install and come with a ton of extra cables that I'll probably never use. Probably the best fan packaging you can imagine. But when you're paying at premium prices, this is what you should expect. Now that I have them in my NAS, the hard drives are 2 degrees cooler. Maybe the old fans were pretty dusty (see my photos) and the new fans are just good at moving air. Overall I highly recommend this fan as it is very quiet but moves a lot of air. Not the cheapest but you are definitely getting a quality product here.
