Probe when inserted into a pork tenderloin that literally just came out of my fridge, never near a heat source. The probe immediately showed that the internal temperature was 198 degrees. The receiving unit immediately picked up this interesting temperature and started flashing red to let me know my raw chilled pork tenderloin was overcooked. And I've disconnected and reconnected the probe cable many times with no change in the result. I think this company needs quality control on their products. From raw meat to overcooked meat in less than three seconds. For a moment I will be walking out the door to return this defective product.
