Most people have mentioned the fit or are concerned. It should fit like a second skin, without play, which is why it is an elastic material. Example: I am a 5"9" 170lbs man. Medium build (no beer belly) I bought the medium and it fits very snugly. At first I thought it was too tight, but remember, once you get in the water you won't feel it. I also bought Cressi Medium, both fit the same and are the same quality. Next time I'll buy a big one to see if it's still tight or not. Update: I bought the Mares XL and found it fit a bit better. Yes, the medium is too dense, it feels like a sausage in a natural casing. XL is perfect.
