My daughter is almost done with this notebook and is not tired of it. We do one letter a day (each letter has 4 worksheets). Most emails have the task of cutting and pasting parts of the picture of what she loves. All letters are marked with dots for the child to circle them. The rest of the activities are varied including creating a sequence, chasing images, completing an image that is missing parts (like a fish fin or something), finding same/different things, categorizing, etc. My daughter loves this Sequencing activities the most, which she then also composes a story about - that's her favorite part; So I would suggest sticking the child on the sequence cards and they will tell a story that you should write down and then read to them. Very funny! After every four letters there are pages of mini reviews. My daughter calls them games and looks forward to getting them. As such, this workbook is fun for a child and is great for practicing letter sounds and various other reading skills and even math skills (like same/different and action categorization). I highly recommend this workbook.
