This is a great supplement for small group use as it brings together materials for students to read, think and do. For example, the order of vocabulary comprehension. Too easy for the older group at the end of the year but still fun and the kids loved the stories.

I appreciate the mix of activities in this workbook. Each lesson has a story to read, followed by various exercises to test memory, spelling, grammar, etc. I love that the activities change from lesson to lesson so my son doesn't get bored and can practice different skills.

My daughter is almost done with this notebook and is not tired of it. We do one letter a day (each letter has 4 worksheets). Most emails have the task of cutting and pasting parts of the picture of what she loves. All letters are marked with dots for the child to circle them. The rest of the activities are varied including creating a sequence, chasing images, completing an image that is missing parts (like a fish fin or something), finding same/different things, categorizing, etc. My daughter…
