I use it for fixed shots with a Sony A7rII. Others have complained of poor connectivity with the micro-USB port. I have no problem using the "jerk limiter" that came with the camera. With the proverbial fragility of Micro USB, why wouldn't anyone use a snap stopper?! The cable works as expected. Pictures are imported from the camera to the computer without any problems. At first I tried to go the cheap route and bought what I thought was a similar cable for a quarter of the price. Apparently, only certain types of micro USB cables can transfer images between a camera and a computer. I'm not sure what type/protocol it is, but a cheap cable won't do. Just bite the bullet and get the TetherPro cable. You have a durable cord that will last as long as you need it to. At least until the next line of USB-C cameras comes out. I look forward to it! Imagine being able to shoot almost as fast with a cable as with an SD card!
