Straight to the point. It's not completely weatherproof. To be specific, I tried to test the cable in a spot where the connection would have been submerged and water could still get in. I checked the connection, partially and fully submerged in water. Anyway, I just wanted to see how waterproof it is. So if you're just buying this because it's waterproof when submerged, then don't buy it. For general use when used in places where it is easily hit by water, such as sprinklers, rain, etc. Anywhere that will not be fully submerged in water, the cord will do its job of keeping water out. Thick cable and easy to use. I do not regret the purchase. Just be aware of the limitations on weather resistance.
