It always sucks to buy clothes online that I haven't had before. IF I had a specific brand and style, usually no problem. Things like bathrobes even vary in size and ESPECIALLY when they combine BIG and HUGE. And people always know height and weight. WHAT ABOUT THE STRUCTURE OF OUR BODY? Are we more up or down? Will we use on OTHER layers? MY EXPERIENCE AND WHY I GAVE A THREE: QUALITY - SEEMS to fit well, I wash them cold gentle, tumble dry low this morning and update if I see a problem. BUT because it's so thin I don't know how long it will last. FIT - I'm 5'4", 148-150. I wear it over a turtleneck, sweatshirt, hoodie and sweatpants when I'm walking the dog. at night. Midwest winters are COLD. In my house I can only wear a turtleneck and sweatpants. Okay, having said that, I couldn't get SMALL/MEDIUM. I have a larger top than a bottom (I use men's jogging pants, the top is large, the bottom is MEDIUM and both are roomy). THIS IS SUITABLE if I have stock. YES, I can wrap it around me so that one side goes straight over the opposite thigh bone with sweatpants on. , but that means it won't open! And I LOVE that my clothes are a little big. EVEN just wearing over my pajamas, SMALL/MEDIUM couldn't handle it. I'm doing a test LAYING HANDS FRONT. I can do it comfortably, but I couldn't do it in SM/MED. THICKNESS IS OK IT IS THIN. If you are generous you can call it MEDIUM weight. I held it to the window and could see light through, does that tell you? It's great when it's SOMETHING chilly, in the winter I put it on to go outside. SOFTNESS - YES! IT IS VERY SOFT! Not thick at all, but SOFT.HOOD - Well, good thing I can turn back the lens hood, because if I couldn't, I'd lose sight of it :-). I look like those hooded little creatures from Star Wars. When I walk my dog on cold, windy nights I wear sweatpants and a hoodie, so adding that with a hood and scarf makes me feel good in those moments when I'm outside. Ribbons! Why don't more bathrobe manufacturers do this? We have various places where our waists touch that we like to tie. ALSO NICE DEEP POCKETS! It was about $35. Personally find it too expensive for the thickness. Although it's well tailored, I wash and dry thoroughly when the fabric is SO thin. There are cheaper robes that are thicker. BUT, if you're looking for a THIN bathrobe for those slightly chilly days or evenings, this could be the one for you.
