More time than Chemex

I have had a Chemex 6 cup machine for over 5 years now. I have always used Chemex paper filters. I received this Cosori as a gift for someone and have had the opportunity to use it several times. First, the finished coffee in Cosori is a few ounces larger than in Chemex for 6 cups. For me, a few grams more is almost the same. The coffee grounds inside are slightly smaller than Chemex due to the shape, at the top it is smaller than Chemex. I tried using Chemex paper filters in Cosori (no metal screen included) and it didn't work. The Cosori doesn't have a vent (like the Chemex) so the wet floor will bubble up and splatter the coffee. When a metal filter and a paper filter are used together, there will be no bubbles because the metal filter creates an air gap for air to escape. Worst thing about Cosori: As mentioned, Cosori is smaller on top than Chemex, so has fewer bases. Most importantly, it holds less hot water during brewing, so you'll have to stand by and pour 2 ounces of hot water every 20-30 seconds. Kosori takes much more time than Chemex. I can pour 6-7 oz of water into my Chemex, walk away and come back a few minutes later and pour another 6 oz. If you're not retired, don't have a morning schedule, and love the idea of feeding needy chicks 2 ounces each, spend the extra $15 and get Chemex. The coffee tastes almost the same as Chemex and the cleaning is the same.
