These strong black "S" hooks are just what I need! I need S hooks to hold the rain chains in place while I attach them to the gutters. These S hooks have a slightly smaller end than the other which is perfect. The larger end was placed in the gutter and the smaller end kept the rain chains from blowing away by preventing them from slipping off the end. I only needed two S hooks but was happy to find a set of 4 hooks for such a great price. I have found many uses for them including hanging goods in my closet! Most importantly, they can easily carry my 12ft rain chains in a heavy downpour, which is why I bought them! If necessary, the rubber cap can be moved from the short end to the wide end.
