I also thought it was vinyl as described in the description. When I opened it I was surprised to see that it was a fabric with an adhesive backing. I decided to try it because it's beautiful and was already at hand. It didn't go well. I tried 3 different designs and each one was a mess. I've tried using my cloth and light grip cutting mats but it didn't make much of a difference. Clipping mirrors and non-mirrors didn't help either. I also tried cutting twice, which didn't help. I have a relatively new blade so I know it doesn't need changing. 2 carpets ruined because tiny scraps of fabric wouldn't come off. I know I can wash them with soap and water but the mess is just ridiculous. I'm sending it back!
