I've had this item for 6 months. I bought it because it seemed to be the toughest on the market. but what do you know. It damaged my computer. A few months ago I noticed a strange stage lighting effect on my computer (see last picture). I took it to a Mac Store and they removed the case and explained how the case caused the damage. Other photos show damage to the top of the laptop where the UAG case was located, as well as damage to the hinge mechanism leaking out of the case. Of course, this damage is not covered by the warranty or Applecare. So I lost $500 on a nearly new computer. The company ignored me. DO NOT BUY.
