Sleeve honest estimate

Received UAG protection for MacBook Pro the other day - waited a bit to write this so I can give an honest review. It definitely added weight to the MacBook Pro but not much to be honest, I almost didn't notice it but as others have commented I wanted to address this issue. I paid $2,000 for my laptop, so $79 for protection is definitely worth the money. It looks stylish, I've gotten comments about how cool it looks, but even better, it fits the laptop perfectly. I have stains on the lid of my…

Watch the video before you try to put it on or take it off! It looks quite industrial and a little clunky, but it's very sturdy, even though I haven't dropped my computer. I suspect this will help prevent damage if it falls. This thing is really very difficult to put on and even more difficult to take off. I've read of several people whose computers got corrupted due to this problem. Aside from being difficult to remove, what's even worse is that this stupid thing doesn't have a lip hole in the

  • A sea of positive emotions

I've had this item for 6 months. I bought it because it seemed to be the toughest on the market. but what do you know. It damaged my computer. A few months ago I noticed a strange stage lighting effect on my computer (see last picture). I took it to a Mac Store and they removed the case and explained how the case caused the damage. Other photos show damage to the top of the laptop where the UAG case was located, as well as damage to the hinge mechanism leaking out of the case. Of course, this…

Maybe not super pretty, but very durable.

Very happy with this cover. I also bought the last MacBook Pro I had (mid 2012) from the Apple Store and was attracted to get one of those bacon cases. Yes they look good but for me personally they offered little to no protection from falls, spills and just being tossed around by a fairly active student. To be honest - I just threw some crazy loot on a new MBP, and while Apple Care comes in very handy, I might be able to avoid using it by just spending a little more and getting a nice case…

Would recommend for regular travelers and rough service uses.

So far, so good. I only wore it for a week but it has proven to be well made and durable. I used to use the cheaper (and less durable) bacon clam shells and wanted something firmer because I travel a lot. Of course, this product offers the same excellent protection with a small difference in weight. I love the snap closure and the fact that my MacBook Pro stays closed in my backpack and other places I store and carry. I often put my MacBook in my backpack or toolbox along with other gadgets…

DO NOT BUY THIS CASE! CAUSE OF DAMAGE

I recently noticed a streak on the screen (see attached image) and went to the Apple Store to check it. When I removed the case there were identical dents on the back of the screen (see attached image) which Apple technicians say damaged the screen and was caused by case pressure. I had to pay $110 to repair the damage caused by this incident despite my warranty. I contacted the company asking for a refund and reimbursement and this is the response I received. THEY DID NOT EVEN OFFER ME A…

I thought I would damage my computer if I tried to remove the cover.

I received a defective lid, the lid would not close. I was thinking of swapping it out for another one, but when I tried to remove the cover from the computer it was almost impossible. He did not come out, I was afraid of damaging the computer and tried to remove it. The small transparent fasteners on the lid are not marked. My husband and I had to force it and it took a while. I didn't even care if I had to pry open the lid, but eventually I figured I had to leave it and live with it or else I
