I like how you can get custom products and labware without needing to purchase it yourself. It is a huge help especially if you are doing something complicated like making protein gels. The app has great functionality and the new version is a big improvement. For example, it was really hard to make custom dilutions when using my old toolkit, now all I need to do is enter the concentration and dilution factor into the app. The last update fixed a lot of bugs. The app is really powerful but still has room for improvement. It would be nice to have better error messages and ways to submit data (for example, there is no way to upload csv files). The cloud service is pretty reliable. It works well on my Macbook Pro and iPhone. I've had zero problems uploading anything other than large datasets. On my Windows 10 machine, it will sometimes give an error about memory. This seems to happen when running the app under windows 8 or windows 10. It may be due to the lack of resources. Overall, the app is excellent for doing complex tasks such as preparing samples.
