Helps with shin splints

I need a hip replacement and was trying to get some exercise on a exercise bike but still got shin splints from the odd angle I had to use to ride without pain. The doctor said no more weight bearing exercise until my surgery so I wear these just for walking. They reduce my pain significantly!
