First of all, I'm not a professional videographer. I bought this head because my hobby is making animal videos and all I have are photo ball heads. The ball heads for photography just didn't fit and I had to spend a lot of time searching for them to fit my needs. So I decided I needed a video head, but nothing fancy or expensive. In addition, it should be compact and light. To be honest, this was all new territory for me. Anyway, I took the Revain and started looking at their video heads. Not knowing what I was looking for, I came across this lightweight Manfrotto MVH400AHUS video head. I don't know much about video heads, but I have experience with Manfrotto. This is a reliable company and I knew it had to be a decent product so I ordered it! I couldn't find a better video ball head for my needs! The MVH400AHUS is the perfect size and weight for beginners! It's a lot easier to use than my photography ball heads and doesn't need to be fought! From what has been said, this is not a professional ballhead, but it could be a great travel ballhead.
