I have had no issues with this preamp in terms of features or sound quality. The buttons for switching input and output work well, and the volume control is actually the most convenient control in my entire audio system. I use it to split a DAC signal between a pair of XLR studio monitors and a headphone amp with RCA outputs. The only reason I'm giving this preamp 4 stars instead of 5 is because of its physical design. It's so narrow front to back that connecting multiple XLR and RCA cables upsets the balance of the entire unit and causes the preamp to wobble on its hind legs. This could have been avoided by making the preamp a little more massive or square.
