Warning of this rust in normal use for cutting fabrics.

***Edited on 11/13/16***I have noticed rusting over the past few months. I keep them in a black plastic protective sleeve. Moisture doesn't bother them. If I need to clean them, I just wipe them down with a dry microfiber cloth. They are now difficult to move on the handle. Very disappointed. When I was growing up, my mother had a couple of redheads of her own. I always envied them and wanted my own pair but because they were so fancy she wouldn't let me have them as a kid. I inherited my love for sewing from her. In the end I couldn't take it anymore and bought them because many brands of "fabric" scissors don't cut well and dull quickly. I never use fabric scissors for anything other than fabric. I even have different ones to mix and match as they look like paper. They cut to the tip like a dream. No more jagged edges and half-cut blades. It even cuts curves beautifully. I will not go back to cheaper scissors. I can't wait to expand my Ginghers collection (slowly, of course) for all my sewing needs.
