I like to think and plan this game! My son says it's like a strategy board game. I read a lot of reviews that made me think it would be fun, but the negative reviews bothered me. I resorted to online gameplay videos and game reviews. I'm glad I have it, it's one of my favorites. My 9 year old son doesn't want to play this (although he's quite impatient) but he loves doing his part by watching me! But my friend who is 9 years old likes it and we will compare the records. It's a turn based battle, my 3 characters take turns moving and attacking, inflict damage on the bad bunnies and reduce their health bars. Then they take it in turns with my team. Mario Peach and Luigi (and their fellow bunnies in the mix) have guns and acrobatic skills. You plan your moves to attack the bad bunnies (they're weirdly cute, especially in the zebra/mohawk look) and then watch your character perform multiple steps/actions to complete the level/area/challenge. The levels are easy, but you can bet they will get more challenging! They prepare you little by little, adding skills and hints along the way. You collect orbs of power to improve your characters' abilities and coins to buy new and improved weapons! This game is great fun. I invest in fights because I strive for excellence and efficiency, planning and brainstorming contribute to this success as you overcome a difficult situation.
