Review on 👶 Shea Moisture Baby Essentials: Raw Shea Chamomile & Argan Oil Baby Wash & Shampoo Bundle + Baby Lotion – Skin Care for Baby, 13 Fl Oz Ea by Laura Huddleston

Not what I was hoping for. I've loved Shea Moisture for Everyone in the past, although it got rid of that wonderful scent of frankincense and myrrh. After receiving them I was so disappointed with the scent which is like a cheap perfume and not like an essential oil blend at all. "Fragrance" is on the ingredients list, meaning it's likely synthetic and may contain any number of untested/unresearched chemicals. It also tops the list of ingredients, meaning it has more flavor than mango seed butter, argan oil, chamomile, and many other nutrients on the list. I didn't even open the shampoo and shower gel. The preservative phenoxyethanol is the third ingredient on the list after the main leavening agents and before any nutritional ingredients. "Fragrance" comes at the end. After doing a little research, I found out that Sundial Brands, which owns Shea Moisture, was acquired by Unilever in 2017. This most likely explains why my favorite raw shea body lotion has lost that lovely essential oil smell and why they now use "flavors" and phenoxyethanol in baby products. Such a disappointment.
