For the most part this is a great device. Ease of installation. Picture and sound are excellent. Easy to use with little learning curve. I had two problems, hence the 3rd starting score: 1. The recording didn't capture any sound. If this happens, assuming you have the sound turned on, download the latest firmware. At least this solved the problem for me. 2. If you also bought a GPS module, it will not work well. The GPS device measures kilometers per hour (yes, it does not measure miles per hour) and coordinates. So the GPS module seems to be connected. But the ADAS function doesn't work to inform you about collision warning and lane departure. this is really the key value of this device (at least for me). The system GPS needs to be calibrated every time you turn on the camera and every time it tells me that the calibration failed. I've tried changing the camera position multiple times and nothing seems to matter. CONCLUSION - If all you need is a camera, this device is great!. If you need GPS functionality or safety features like lane departure warning, this device is a total failure. I finally figured out how to get the calibration to work. You need to set the video to. 2560 x 1440. So I would say 5 stars now
