Review on Makita 197210-9 Small Interlocking Case - 4-3/8" x 15-1/2" x 11-5/8" for Improved SEO by Jay Meza

I bought this to store some of the accessories and parts of the Kreg pocket screw system. It's interesting to see how these cases get such mixed reviews, especially those that describe them as flimsy or cheap. They're made of hard plastic with fairly thin walls, and it's true that they're not as explosion-proof as the softer plastic cases that power tools sometimes come in. But in fact this is not the main thing. They should be strong enough for most DIYers, plus the boxy design and relative lack of interior ledges maximize storage and flexibility, as well as their stackability. It's worth noting that while the case is made by Makita, it's marked as being made under license by Tanos, the company that makes branded Systainer cases. Apart from the handle being slightly modified (improved), this case is 100% identical in design and quality to the systainer that came with the old Festool grinder I have. Likewise, the current generation Systainer that I bought two years ago has a different locking system, but other than that it doesn't feel any better or different (except that it's a different color and it's a lot more expensive). Conclusion: These are good, functional cases at a very reasonable price.
