Nice case at a very reasonable price

I bought this to store some of the accessories and parts of the Kreg pocket screw system. It's interesting to see how these cases get such mixed reviews, especially those that describe them as flimsy or cheap. They're made of hard plastic with fairly thin walls, and it's true that they're not as explosion-proof as the softer plastic cases that power tools sometimes come in. But in fact this is not the main thing. They should be strong enough for most DIYers, plus the boxy design and relative…

I love these Makita cases. Lockable, stackable and handy size.

I love these feet, they are so comfy and big. I love that they come in 4 sizes, this is the smallest. They can all be stacked and locked individually or together. The handles on the faucet feel quite solid. In this little case I keep all my woodworking measuring tools: squares, spirit levels, chalk ruler, speed squares and the like. The size is good as it is not deep and you can see and reach things easily. I also love that you can attach all of your stacked drawers together with a 1" flat…

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.

Most cordless Makita tools have a belt clip, making them too tall to close. You'll need a 6.5 inch if you're going to use it for this. The latches can be tricky although they work and lock the cases as promised. You could use other size options as they won't fit in a dike or circular saw to protect them. I mainly use them to organize and transport tools to…
