Totally honest review.

I love Makita and have never been disappointed. This purchase has its pros and cons. It's small for the price and doesn't fit much in it. Most cordless Makita tools have a belt clip, making them too tall to close. You'll need a 6.5 inch if you're going to use it for this. The latches can be tricky although they work and lock the cases as promised. You could use other size options as they won't fit in a dike or circular saw to protect them. I mainly use them to organize and transport tools to get them to work for me. There is another brand with the same quality and durability that looks the same but without the Makita name but is a lot cheaper but I love seeing the sea of the word Makita all over the place lol. I work with several carpenters and there is no doubt which tools are mine. They are easy to write on. They protect against something falling on them, but I wouldn't trust them in a fall as much as I would in the separate thick strong vacuum formed cases that come with some of the tools (wish they had them made for it). my saw and rear handle are round). The cart for them is very expensive and doesn't allow you to shoot separately like many other brands do (basically it's a blue mini hand cart you can buy for $20-30 except it's blue and costs 200). I think the system could use more work/features, but it's a box. For the price, there are endless more durable options in a variety of size configurations, but if you're just a Makita fan this might be for you.
