I use this for perfect stitch width. Possibility of repositioning for wider or narrower seams or if your machine feeds slightly at an angle. It's not very thick, so you can leave it on after sewing the quilt and still sew the square diagonally without snagging! I actually bought an extra pack and use them as a guide for my vintage featherweights! π
