Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Venzo Bicycle Bike Handlebar Mount Mirror - Blue or Silver lens, Anti-Glare Glass, Crystal Clear Rear View - Mountain or Road Bike Cycling by Alex Tellekson

Good visibility and stability

This mirror is mounted on a Cannondale Quick hybrid adult bike. It should fit most city/hybrid bike handlebars. It is NOT suitable for racing bike handlebars because the mounting diameter is too small for a racing bike. This was a replacement for a Hafny bar end mirror that broke when the bike was dropped. This one was chosen because it's taller, which allows for a better line of sight, meaning less turning of the head to look in the mirror. Since it's not attached to the end of the handlebars, it should be less likely to break if the bike is dropped or hit. The body is pretty solid, if a bit HEAVY. The ball pivot mount has an Allen head lag screw to reduce mirror movement. I was driving a smooth, graded track and the mirror moved, but after tightening the pivot mount screw it became more stable. By tilting the mirror up a bit I got a better view as you can see in the attached photo which shows the car is about 15 feet long. behind me. Note that I installed it on the inside of the brake and shift levers. The manufacturer recommends installing it between the grip and the brake/shift lever. I chose to install an extra end so there is no OFFSET to the brake and shifter levers. Pushing it further in I see more of my hand in the mirror, but the mirror is wide enough to still see most of the road and traffic behind me. ADVANTAGES: good distance vision; fairly stable; seems strong; EASY INSTALLATION - Clips around the handlebars, no need to remove the handlebars. CONS: A bit heavy, but that's to be expected from a solid build.
