I used it once after reading the instructions twice. My arthritic hands feel better after using it. My husband cut the wax into six pieces per pound instead of four and it took less than 1.5 hours to melt. I then waited another half hour before sticking my hands in, which worked fine (the wax was hot, but not hot enough to cause a problem). Following the directions, I quickly and carefully dipped one hand five times and then used the plastic. insert and glove. Then repeat with the other hand. I left the gloves on for about 15 minutes. I recommend opening the plastic liner before diving as the liner is difficult to open once the wax is on your hands. There were no leaks. So far, so good!
