Review on Speakman SR 124 Anystream Multi Function Polished by Sarah Dionne

This is a very good shower head for the money. I've always been a fan of the Speakman shower heads. Having moved to a country home with a well/septic tank a few years ago, I was concerned about adequate shower flow/pressure in our well (40-60 psi). We used a Speakman S-2253 (classic with 4 heads) with a separate navy shower valve for lathering and shaving. Okay, but I've always wanted a bigger speaker with a pause function and it doesn't disappoint. With a standard water restrictor, this higher head will flow much better (no other valve in the line) and provide adequate pressure. By removing the flow restrictor (the white perforated ring inside behind the screen) we get GREAT flow and pressure in our fountain source and we still have an easy to use pause setting so we don't waste water. The other settings - massage etc - are fine, but we typically just use the high-flow setting and the pause settings, which are the first two counter-clockwise settings, and it's very easy to switch between them. 5 Stars. Edit, at 11/18. to add: This thing works great for those who switch threads. Easy switching. It's amazing for a navy blue shower for the people who do it. It's that easy to pause or switch between settings, including pausing at the 77% setting. For the money this is the #1 shower head. Edit added: 2/10/2019: I'm still impressed with this shower head. No problem, no rust, no chipping, no problem. I'm tempted to buy a spare to take to our next home.
