I did a lot of research before placing an order and it didn't disappoint. Just buy it. Once you get it, you need to do four things: 1. Download the latest OnScreen Control app from LG website.2. Connect your monitor to your MacBook with the included USB-C3 cable. Go to System Preferences -> Display and disable "High Dynamic Range” for LG monitor. Otherwise, it shows a very strange and awkward color. (I really don't understand why they enabled this useless HDR by default) 4. Change the resolution from "Standard" to "Scaled" and choose the 4th option that gives you the most space. That's all. Enjoy big screen!
