Day one: Great experience so far. I've just finished setting it up. This thing really is a beast and I'm hooked. This is my first curved widescreen monitor and I have to say it's fantastic. I'm a developer and I spend a lot of time in front of the screen. It's got a crisp resolution (as opposed to a 5K screen, but I knew it was happening) and plenty of room for code when multitasking. I also have an old 27-inch Apple CinemaDisplay (although it's not as crystal clear as my 2018 Retina MacBook Pro). Apple CinemaDisplay is attached to this VESA mount https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MIBN16O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), but the LG size alone (IMHO) eliminates the need for two monitors can see everything on ONE nice, uncluttered screen. It fits perfectly in my BDI Sequel Lift Desktop (https://www.amazon.com/BDI-Furniture-6052-CWL-Chocolate/dp/B01JDA7WIK/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1545075395&sr=1). -1&keywords=bdi%2Bsequel%2B6052&th=1). I chose this VESA mount (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B21TLQU/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) rather than the included LG stand. I placed the VESA mounting bar on the far right of the table so the monitor appears to be "floating" in front of me. Despite some comments on brightness levels, it seems more than bright enough to me. I also use Bose (QC-35 Series II) wireless (Bluetooth) headphones, so not being able to control the volume on the monitor with my Mac keyboard doesn't really bother me. The sound (for the monitor's built-in speakers) is actually surprisingly decent. The LG On-Screen Control software (in my case for Mac, found here: https://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-38WK95C-W#manuals) allows you to take advanced settings to select manually Use the knob/button under the middle of the screen. By the way, I get absolutely no "kickbacks" for posting links, I just list the products I've ordered and use that I've had positive experiences with. So far, so good. I will update my post over time. Hope this helps someone! TL; DR - While it may seem expensive, you won't regret it. what are you losing
