I really like this purchase, not only did it add the promised throttle response but it looks great under the hood. The only reason for the headline is that my pickup (99 Silverado ext cab 4.8L) had a gapping problem with the rubber knee after adding a silver ball afe (throttle body gasket). The elbow rests a bit on the fan cover, which is a bit of a concern, but so far the air intake has been running without damage for about 4 months. Great purchase, just do your research before making a purchase as there may be a different elbow size available in k&n.
