Just to settle the dispute once and for all. They are REALLY wayfarer friendly. BUT the way it works is that the narrow (sewn) part of the strap has to match the tapered part of the plastic on the Wayfarer or it looks like it's bursting at the seams (I don't know, it only looks like that, but I'm not eager to find out). The end result is that the strap has a bit of build up and looks shorter at the back than it does in the seller's photos. So putting it on and taking it off is a bit awkward. Doesn't look great when I'm wearing it either. It's like the strap sticks out a little at the back and looks a bit ridiculous. But it seems to get the job done (I only want to use it for watersports). Just don't recommend going with it if you're not exercising.
